Timmy’s Biography

Timmy began his playing career at local Tipperary club St Michaels before joining Celtic where he spent two years. He then had a brief spell at Kilkenny City, signing for the First Division side in July 2007. He made his LoI debut against Monaghan United on 7 July and did well enough over the remainder of the season to attract the interest of Premier Division Cork City.

Timmy joined Cork City prior to the start of the 2008 season but did not make his debut until a Setanta Cup win away to Cliftonville on 1 September '08 when he came on as a late substitute. He went on to make 5 league appearances that season and added 13 more in 2009.

Timmy joined Limerick FC in the summer of 2010 and made his club debut against his former club, Cork City, on 25 June 2010. He went on to make 10 league appearances, scoring once, but was released by the club at the end of that season. He returned to Cork City for the start of 2011 where he made just 5 league appearances, all as a substitute, and left bt mutual consent in May. Timmy went on to play MSL football with Fermoy.
