Kevin is a goalkeeper who spent some time with Nottingham Forest before going on a football scholarship in the United States. He returned to Ireland in 2014 and signed for Cork City just prior to the start of the 2014 season. After the departure of Matt Gledhill in June of that year Kevin became the regular number two to Mark McNulty, appearing eighteen times as an unused substitute as City finished runners up to Dundalk in the league.

Kevin found himself once more fighting for the goalkeeper jersey at Cork for the 2015 season although he didn't make a league appearance as Mark McNulty was ever-present while Alan Smith was preferred as the no.2 towards the end of the season. In November 2015, Kevin left Cork after two seasons at the club.
