Alan’s Biography

Alan is a Dublin born striker who is a Republic of Ireland at U19 international. He was on the books at SPL side Aberdeen until the summer of 2014 when he returned home to Ireland and signed for Shelbourne. He made 8 league appearances for the Reds over the latter half of 2014, adding 2 more senior appearances in the FAI Cup and re-signed for the club ahead of the 2015 season under new boss Kevin Doherty following Johnny McDonnell's departure to Drogheda United.

Alan made 12 league appearances over the course of the 2015 season as Shelbourne finished in fourth place in the table, just four points behind UCD in third spot. In Deecmber 2015, Alan moved to Malahide United. He was soon back in the League of Ireland though, as he signed for Athlone Town in February 2016. He made 12 league appearances over the opening half of the 2016 season but left the club amidst financial turmoil at the end of May and returned to Malahide United.

Alan went on to make twelve league appearances, as well as scoring their only goal over the two legs against Letterkenny Rovers in the FAI Cup game, before leaving Athlone in June 2016. Alan returned to Malahide in Augsut 2016.
