Michael ’s Biography

Michael is a goalkeeper who played underage football at Cherry Orchard and Dunboyne FC. He represented Cherry Orchard at the Northern Milk Cup in 2013 and played in the semi-final against Manchester United and he joined Shamrock Rovers U19 side from Dunboyne.

In February 2014 Michael was named in the Hoops' reserve side which competed in that year's First Division and he made his league debut against Finn Harps at Tallaght Stadium on 16 March 2014. He spent most of the season as back up for first choice 'keeper Conor O'Malley but made 5 league appearances over the season. The Rovers B team spent just that one season in the league but Michael stayed with the club for the 2015 season and was on the bench three times for the seniors during their Premier Division campaign.

Michael left Shamrock Rovers at the end of the 2015 season and joined Cabinteely FC ahead of the 2016 First Division campaign. He started the season as Cabinteely's first-choice keeper and made 25 league appearances as the Dublin side finished seventh in the First Division table. Michael played 25 times for Cabo in 2017, whilst just conceding 29 goals throughout the campaign.

In November 2017 it was announced that Michael was moving on from Cabo and he signed for Longford Town ahead of the 2018 season.

After two years away from Longford, Michael signed back with the club for the 2021 season.
