Dean’s Biography

Dean played underage football with local Waterford side Southend United before joining English side Fulham in 2013. He has previously represented the Republic of Ireland at underage level and he returned home to sign for Bohemians in August 2016.

Dean made his league of Ireland debut for Bohemians in a 3-2 win over Sligo Rovers at Dalymount Park on 15 August 2016 and he made 10 league appearances over the latter months of that season. In January 2017 Waterford FC announced that they had signed Dean ahead of their upcoming First Division campaign.

Dean made 18 appearances in 2017 for Waterford as they went on to win the First Division. He then re-signed with the Blues for the 2018 season in the Premier Division. In the early months of 2019 Dean went to Bray Wanderers on a six month loan and returned to the Blues in July of 2019. At the end of that season he left the RSC and signed with Galway for the 2020 season.
