Johan’s Biography
Johan was born in Trollhättan, Sweden and began his career in 2004 at Åsebro IF who were then a Swedish third division side. He spent just one season at that level before earning a deal at Norwegian club Lynn where he made 30 league appearances during his four and a half years with the club.
Johan’s time at Lynn included a loan spell with Trelleborgs in the Swedish Allsvenskan and in the summer of 2009 he left Oslo to sign a permanent deal at Malmö FF. Since then he has been first choice ‘keeper at the club and had racked up 83 league appearances prior to the start of the 2013 season.
Johan made his debut for the Swedish national team against the USA in 2009 and he has won three international caps.
