Stephen’s Biography
Stephen played for St Patrick's Athletic's u19 side in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons and was also involved in the club's 2013 Leinster Senior Cup campaign. In July 2014 he left Inchicore to join Keith Long's Athlone Town on loan. He made his league debut as a late substitute against Sligo Rovers on 9 August 2014 and made 2 league appearances for Athlone that season, one which ended in relegation to the First Division for the Midlands club.
In November 2014, Stephen signed permanently for Athlone Town and missed only one game in 2015, making an appearance in 27 of their league fixtures. In December 2015 he signed for Pete Mahon at Drogheda United where, despite missing the opening game of the season through suspension, he made 26 league appearances as the Drogs were promoted to the Premier Division via the play-offs.
