LIam is a Scottish striker who started his career at Cowdenbeath in 2002. He scored over fifty league goals in his five years at Central Park before moving on to Partick Thistle in 2007. He made over 100 league appearances for the Glasgow side and scored 40 league goals.

In January 2011 Liam signed for Dunfirmline Athletic where he won promotion to the SPL at the end of his first season. However, the club were relegated after just one season and Liam was released at the end of the 2011/12 season.

Liam signed for Sligo Rovers in August 2012 and made his debut in the 3-1 win away to Shelbourne on 17 August. He made 10 league appearances, scoring twice, as Sligo won the league title but was released at the end of the season and signed for Scottish club Ayr United in January 2013.
