Robert’s Biography

Robert started his career at Cork City and his first outing with the senior side was as an unused substitute against Finn Harps on 10 October 2008. He was also part of the club's successful U20 side that season. Having left Cork City, Robert played in UCC's Colingwood Cup team in 2011/12 while studying a degree course at the university. In February 2012 he signed for Sean McCaffrey at Dundalk and made 14 league appearances over the opening half of the 2012 season. But Robert left the club, by mutual consent, at the end of July.

Robbie then returned to the Munster Senior league where he went on to be part of the 2012/13 College Corinthians side that qualified for the 2013 FAI Cup and in the summer of that year he returned to the League with Cobh Ramblers. He made his Rams debut away to Salthill Devon on 26 July and made 8 league appearances that season, scoring twice. 2014 was not a great season for the Rams as they finished bottom of the First Division but Robbie topped the club's goal-scoring charts with six goals in 19 league appearances.

Rob then left Cobh by mutual consent in July 2015 and signed for league rivals Finn Harps. He made four league appearances for his new club as Finn Harps were promoted via the play-offs. In January 2016, Rob moved to Cobh Wanderers.
