Jim’s Biography
Jim started his career at Dundee United in 1996 and made over 100 league appearances before moving to Motherwell in 2004. 124 league appearances followed at Fir Park and in January 2008 he made the move south to join Plymouth Argyle.
Jim spent three and a half years at Home Park, making 65 league appearances and, after a loan spell at Aberdeen that was cut short by injury, he was released by Plymouth at the end of the 2010/11 season.
On 31 August 2011 Jim signed for Michael O'Neill at Shamrock Rovers and made 8 league appearances as the Hoops took their second consecutive league title. Jim also played a key role in the clubs Europa League campaign, making four appearances in the club's Group stage games.
In January 2012 Jim signed for English club Bristol Rovers.
