Marouane’s Biography
Known for his vibrant hair style and a combative style of play, Marouane was playing with Belgian side Anderlecht at the tender age of seven. He later signed a contract with Standard Liege and made 84 appearances for them between 2006 and 2008.
In September 2008 he signed for Everton where he made 141 league appearances over a five year spell that made him something of a folk hero to the fans at Goodison Park. In September 2013 he signed a five year deal with Manchester United.
He was included in Belgium's squad for the 2016 European Championship.
