John’s Biography
John has played with a host of local Dublin clubs including Home Farm, Tolka Rovers and St Kevin's Boys, for whom he kept goal as they lost out to Arklow Town in the 2010 LFA Youths Cup final.
He joined the UCD squad in the summer of 2010 and sat on the bench for the senior team when the Students were beaten 7-0 by Derry City on 9 May 2011. He made his league debut on 22 June 2012 at home to Dundalk and made 2 league appearances that year. He was not included in Martin Russell's squad for 2013 but played instead for the College's Leinster Senior League side, helping them to qualify for the 2014 FAI Cup.
