Robert’s Biography

Robert is a goalkeeper who spent two and a half seasons with Tralee Dynamos, playing in their A Championship sides of 2009, 2010 and 2011. He returned to England in August 2011 and had a short spell at Bradford City where he turned out briefly for their Reserve side. However, he was unable to secure a long term contract at Bradford and in November of 2011 he signed for Blue Square Conference side Blyth Spartans.

Having signed for Spartans Robert was immediately called upon by manager Steve Cuggy. He saved a penalty on his debut in a 3-3 draw with Bishop's Stortford and went on to make 12 appearances that season. Robert spent just under a year at Croft Park and left Spartans in September 2012.

In January 2013 he signed for Dave Hill at Cobh Ramblers, shortly after it had been confirmed that the Cork club would be returning to league football after four seasons in the wilderness. He made 16 league appearances, keeping two clean sheets, as Cobh finished seventh place in the 2013 First Division table. Robert re-signed for the 2014 season and added a further14 league appearances to his career tally before leaving the club at the end of that year. On 2nd of December 2014, Robert moved to Waterford United and made twelve appearances during the 2015 season.

It was thought Robert re-signed for the club for the 2016 season but a paperwork issue saw him not registered at the start of the season.
