Marc’s Biography

A native of Strabane, Marc was the U21 team captain at Derry City in the 2006 season. In of that year Finn Harps boss Paul Hegarty, who would have known Brolly from his time as Assistant Manager at the Brandywell, signed Marc for Harps' 2007 campaign.

Marc made his Harps debut as a substitute in the 2007 opening day defeat against Dundalk at Oriel Park and he went on to make 17 league appearances in his debut season, scoring twice. In five seasons at Finn Park Marc made 114 league appearances and scored ten league goals.

On 29 December 2011 Marc became Rodney McAree's first signing as the new boss at Irish League side Dungannon Swifts. But at the end of the 2011/12 season Marc returned to the LoI, signing for Derry City during the July transfer window. He made 8 league appearances for the Candystripes that year but he returned to Finn Harps over the winter and was on the subs bench for Finn Harps 2013 pre season friendly against Sligo Rovers. He went on to spend the first half of the season at Finn Park, making 10 league appearances before leaving the club in the July transfer window.

Marc signed for Dungannon Swifts in January 2014 but re-signed briefly for Harps in July 2014 before deciding just one week later that he could not commit to the Donegal side due to work commitments. However, he was back in Harps colours the following year when he signed for Ollie Horgan ahead of the club's 2015 First Division campaign.

However, he left the club in July 2015, citing personal commitments, without making an appearance.
