81'

Just under ten minutes remain in Dalymount Park - and it is looking likely that Bohs - ma- hang on for a win. Or will they?

GREAT CHANCE!

Sligo go close again through Ronan Murray - but he skies his effort over the bar as Bohs make very hard work of this game... They are hanging on mind you...

74'

Free Kick

Bohemians have won a free kick. Daniel Mandroiu will take it.

73'

Substitution

Ronan Murray replaces Jesse Devers for Sligo Rovers.

71'

Two good chances for SLigo in the space of two minutes, with Ronan Coughlan and David Cawley going close - Cawley ought to have made more of that chance...

70'

Substitution

Daniel Grant replaces Glen McAuley for Bohemians.

70'

Substitution

Andre Wright replaces Glen McAuley for Bohemians.

68'

McAuley goes down under pressure from the Sligo defence, and despite calls for a penalty - nothing comes of it, and to be fair it was probably the right call...

Second Half

45' + 1'

Half Time

It is half-time between Bohemians and Sligo Rovers.

1-0 here at the break, as Mandroiu's opener is the difference between the side's - I'll be back ahead of the start of the second half...

45'

There will be one minute of added time...

41'

Jesse Devers heads wide of goal - and so badly that the ball doesn't even go out of play - And as I type, David Cawley fires over the bar - Sligo are improving slightly now...

38'

Corner Kick

Sligo Rovers have won a corner kick. Darragh Noone will take it.

34'

Sligo Rovers show their first signs of life through Alex Cooper. His cross is met by Coughlan who can only head over the bar. Unlucky for the visitors

32'

Will Seymore has been off the pace in the opening half-hour, and typifying this - he passes the ball out of play twice in less than a minute....

30'

Free Kick

Bohemians have won a free kick. Daniel Mandroiu will take it.

28'

Yellow Card

Garry Buckley is booked for Sligo Rovers.

22'

Free Kick

Bohemians have won a free kick. Daniel Mandroiu will take it.

20'

There seems to be a major sense of bafflement amongst the Sligo Rovers supporters reagrding their style of play this evening, as they insist on playing the long ball up towards Ronan Coughlan, but Dam Casey and Ciaran Kelly are well able to deal with it

17'

Free Kick

Bohemians have won a free kick. Keith Buckley will take it.

16'

Glen McAuley forces a smart save from Ed McGinty after Mandroiu flicked the ball into the path of the striker but McGinty is on hand to save well in the end...

Free Kick

Bohemians have won a free kick. Michael Barker will take it.

12'

Forward Glen McAuley goes on a great run, but his effort flashes wide of goal..  It is all Bohemians so far

11'

That was far too easy for the hosts there as a long ball undoes the Sligo defence - They'll need to get back in the game here as soon as they go nehind early doors..

9'

ASSIST!

Glen McAuley provided the assist.

9'

Michael Barker's llong ball is missed by McFadden, where McAuley picks up the ball - and he squares it back to Madroiu who makes no mistake from close range. 1-0 Bohs!

5'

This has been a lively start from Glen McAuley so far but Kyle McFadden is dealing with the ex-Liverpool striker well - There hasn't been much football played thus far...

MATCH STATS

On the Bit O’Red’s last visit to Dalymount Park, they fell to a 2-1 defeat against the Bit O’Red – with recently retired Derek Pender netting the winner from the penalty spot.

Sligo Rovers have won on two of their previous three visits to Dalymount – with their last win in May 2019.

Bohemians earned a victory on their last league outing against Waterford, with both Daniel Mandroiu scoring from the spot after Sam Bone’s own-goal gave the Gypsies an early lead.

Andrew Dempsey on duty at Dalymount Park this evening as Bohemians hist Sligo Rovers in the Premier Division.

The Gypsies earned a hard-fought win under treacherous conditions on Friday at the RSC – with an own-goal from Sam Bone helping them on their way to three points.

It has been an indifferent start to the season for Bohs, with a win and defeat thus far on their opening two league outings.

An opening day defeat against bitter Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers has been followed by a victory on their last league outing.

After suffering defeat on their opening home league game of the season, Sligo Rovers will be hoping to earn their first set of points this season on Monday evening against Keith Long’s charges.

“We huffed and puffed on Friday night and the end result was we weren’t good enough at all,” manager Liam Buckley told his club’s media team. "We didn’t do enough in the game to get anything from it.

“We didn’t look comfortable overall so that has to be looked at. There’s lots of ability in the group and we’re not seeing it yet and that is the frustrating part.

“We were in on Saturday and Sunday as usual, there’s no sympathy in this game and we have to improve."
