65'

Galway are starting to up the ante once more. However, they really don't look like scoring

63'

Melody sees his loopping header go over the bar after a ball in from Ludden. McGuinness had that well covered

61'

Conor Barry fires well over the bar. Barry has been disappointing so far this evening

58'

Corner Kick

Cabinteely have won a corner kick. Keith Dalton will take it.

Dalton's ball is on the money but Keeley can't benefit as his header goes just wide. Great opportunity it must be said

56'

Just as I say it, Galway really should have levelled. Waweru creeps in unmarked from Hannon but he shoots over the bar. What a chance for the Tribesmen!

55'

Cabinteely are pressing here now. However, the ball is often bouncing away from where it should be which is hindering the play immensely

51'

Similar start to the first half in the second. Neither look dominant just yet anyway....

49'

42'

Watson finds Labutis on the edge of teh box but Werner makes a top drawer save to keep it at 1-0...

40'

Looking like Cabinteely will go into the break one goal to the good. Galway are looking very blunt in attack it must be said

37'

Manley almost gets in after a through ball from Marty Waters but the in-form striker runs out of space in the end. Good chance for Cabinteely there

36'

Jack Watson is down recieving treatment now, Both sides are going in getting instructions from their respective dugouts

32'

Manley shoots wide after some good interplay from Dalton and Marty Waters. Still 1-0 Cabinteely.

Galway go close again through Maurice Nugent but he fires over after Walsh's ball in is too long for Barry and Faherty.. Positive from Galway

30'

The game has has quitened down very substantially here. The conditions is not helping anyone here this evening....

27'

Galway using a 3-2-3-2 formation. Probably a 3-5-2 but it's looking more like the 3-2-3-2 shape

23'

Waweru hits the crossbar! McGuinness has to tip the header onto his bar after a ball in from the far right hand side. Good chance for Galway that...

21'

Cabinteely starting to dominate here. Galway are looking to coem back into the game but it's not happening just yet for Alan Murphy and co.

17'

GOAL!

Rob Manley scores for Cabinteely.

And Cabo take the lead! Dalton sends a cross in which is cleared. The ball tehn comes back to Dalton who crosses to find the head of Manley who scores in the penalty area. 1-0 Cabo!

17'

Manley is looking lively here. Causing Galway all sorts of issues down the right

14'

WHAT A CHANCE! Cabinteely break through Manley but Werner is equal to it. Really should be 1-0 Cabinteely

13'

Free Kick

Cabinteely have won a free kick. Keith Dalton will take it.

Keeley rises highest but it goes just over the bar....

12'

This is a real war of attrition. The pitch is once again playing havoc here

9'

Marty Waters tries to dink his effort over Werner's bar but it doesn't happen. Very quiet here thus far

6'

Dalton gets out wide to deliver a ball into the box but Walsh clears under pressure from Manley. First real opening in an attacking sense here

3'

Cabinteely lining up in their usual shape while it looks like Galway are operating a similar enough formation

1'

GAME ON!

The game between Cabinteely and Galway United has kicked off.

0'

We will observe a minutes silence in honour of Andy Rice. May he Rest in Peace

0'

Teams in for both sides and Cabo make one change from last week's defeat to Limerick while Galway make two themselves. Adam Maher comes out for Cabo in place of Sean Hurley. Waweru and Hannon come in for Colin Kelly and Joe Collins for the Tribesmen. KO is coming soon!

There's plenty of off the pitch festivities taking place at Stradbrook this evening. President Michael D. Higgins will be in attendance as will the Irish Special Olympics football team who are preparing themselves for the Special Olympics in the summer. Should be an exciting evening in South Dublin for sure

Good evening folks and welcome to Extratime.ie's live updates of Cabinteely versus Galway United in the First Division. I'm Andrew Dempsey and I will be taking you all through this evening's clash in Stradbrook. Cabinteely are winless at home so far this season while Galway are also. However, the Tribesmen are away from home this evening. Can Cabo reverse this trend or will United pile the home misery on Pat Devlin and his young squad? Who knows? Kick-Off is at 7.45pm
