GOAL!
Substitution
What a save from Peter Cherrie!
Robbie McCourt takes a shot at goal from well out the pitch. The ball deflects perfectly into the path of Ali Reghba who drills a strong shot towards goal but Cherrie pulls off a super save to keep his goal intact.
Attendance this evening, a very healthy looking 2,940
Substitution
Yellow Card
Better from Mandroiu who shows good strength to win the ball in midfield before spraying it out the the right for Wade-Slater. Wade Slater attempts a cross but sends the ball out over the bar for a goal kick. Wasted opportunity
Substitution
PENALTY SCORED!
Eoghan Stokes scores for Derry City from the penalty spot. A sloppy clearance from Finnerty only makes it as far as Ogedi-Uzokwe in midfield. The Derry City midfielder passes the ball to Stokes just inside the penalty area but is brought to the ground by Derek Pender with the referee pointing to the spot straight away. Stokes drills the ball past Talbot in front of the travelling support to give Derry the lead.
Ireland Under-21 manager Stephen Kenny is also in attendance here tonight
Second Half
Yellow Card
Half Time
It is half-time between Bohemians and Derry City. Very poor opening forty five minutes between these two sides. Aidy Delap has been the best player for the away side so far looking lively down the left for Derry and doing his best to create chances.
Both sides finding it hard to get into any sort of passing rhythym at all but hopefully the second half will be better!
A quick ball is played over the top for Ogedi-Uzokwe and it's a race between himself and the Bohs goalkeeper James Talbot. Talbot wins the race and heads the ball clear just outside his box.
Allardice shows great feet down the right for Bohs and manages to win a corner, Wards corner comes back out to Mandroiu but he cannot get it under control.
Good move by Derry City, again down the left wing. Aidy Delap gets to the line and crosses across the box. The ball manages to find its way all the way across to McDermott whose shot clears the crossbar.
Good chance for Bohs minutes at the other end - Conor Levingston flashes the ball across the box for Mandroiu but even at full stretch he just ca't get a touch on it. Inches away from the opening goal here at Dalymount.
Poor enough half of football so far
Bohs pushing high up the pitch and asking questions of Derry in the last ten minutes. Cherrie has had a few nervy moments but hasn't been overly troubled since Ward's free kick early in the game
Quiet enough start in this game, Derry have looked lively down the left wing but Bohs are starting to enjoy more of the ball in the last five minutes.
Yellow Card
Ciaran Coll is booked for Derry City. A speculative boot forward from Darragh Leahy almost finds Wade-Slater but he is hauled down by Ciaran Coll close to goal.
Keith Ward hits a great free kick towards the top corner but Cherrie pulls off a great save at full stretch to deny the Bohs number 10
Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy is in attendance in Dalymount Park this evening to enjoy tonight's game
The Jodi stand is absolutely packed to the rafters
Ali Reghba and Peter Cherrie get themselves into a tussle but Cherrie comes out with the ball
Harkin goes up the other end of the pitch and shoots towards goal but the ball iis deflected away by Derry City captain Ciaron Harkin
