78'

GOAL!

Georgie Kelly scores for Dundalk.

He's barely been on the pitch but Georgie Kelly has given Dundalk the lead here. He's tapped home from Sean Gannon's cross from the right. Massive, massive goal at both ends of the table.

77'

Substitution

Georgie Kelly replaces Jamie McGrath for Dundalk.

75'

Tadgh Ryan gets down low to save well from Patrick Hoban's shot. 15 minutes to play here, still scoreless.

70'

Conor McCormack returns to the field of play after a long delay there. That was the third time he's gone down injured tonight.

68'

Substitution

Daniel Kelly replaces Robbie Benson for Dundalk.

65'

Yellow Card

Conor McCormack is booked for Cork City.

64'

Eoghan Stokes wayward shot fizzes well wide of Gary Rogers' near post there.

62'

Three chances in quick succesion there for Dundalk. Dean Jarvis shot is just wide there before Tadgh Ryan makes a good save from Patrick McEleney's shot. He shoots again, but it is deflected just wide after that. Nothing amounts from the corner.

60'

Crowd really staring to get behind their team here at Oriel Park. You get the feeling that they're about to turn the screw that will release the Cork?... I'll get my coat...

55'

Patrick Hoban's dangerous looking cross flashes across goal there but nobody in a white shirt can get a touch on it. Goes out for a throw-in eventually.

54'

Dundalk showing a bit more urgency at the start of this second half but have still struggled to create anything of note.

50'

Patrick McEleney's low free-kick from the edge of the box is straight into the Cork wall. Poor effort.

48'

Yellow Card

Colm Horgan is booked for Cork City.

46'

Second Half

The second half between Dundalk and Cork City has started.

45' + 2'

Half Time

It is half-time between Dundalk and Cork City.

45' + 1'

Patrick's McEleney's shot is high, wide and not at all handsome there. Pretty much sums up the first half here. That was a shot fuelled by pure frustration.

42'

Mark O'Sullivan gets in behind the Dundalk defence but his header doesn't really trouble Gary Rogers. That serve as a wake-up call for Dundalk. Still scoreless here at Oriel.

39'

Daire O'Connor unleashes a shot that sails well, well over the top and out into the Carrick Road I reckon.

32'

Sean Gannon's cross is headed over by Patrick Hoban before Tadgh Ryan gets a talking to by referee Ben Connolly for time wasting. Yes, time wasting after 32 minutes...

29'

That was very close to being a horrible moment from young Tadgh Ryan in goal there. Sean Gannon's cross is deflected over the Cork goalkeeper who had committed himself way too early, but luckily for him, it clips the crossbar and goes over the top.

26'

Yellow Card

Patrick Hoban is booked for Dundalk.

23'

Michael Duffy takes the ball a long, long way there before Robbie Benson has a pop at goal but Tadgh Ryan was on hand to save from the Dundalk midfielder, who's back in the starting XI tonight following his recovery from injury.

20'

Cork have had pretty much every single player behind the ball for the majority of the opening 20 minutes here. However, Dundalk are struggling to create any clear-cut chances at the moment.

14'

Eoghan Stokes with a chance there for Cork. His shot is deflected over by Daniel Cleary. Nothing amounts from the two resulting corners though.

7'

Lovely play from Sean Gannon and Jamie McGrath there before Patrick Hoban fires his effort well over the top. First real chance of the game there.

3'

Ronan Hurley looks to have fouled Sean Gannon there, but referee Ben Connolly waves play on. Cork manager Neale Fenn getting a frosty reception here as well. Football fans really do never forget...
