Live Updates for Dundalk -v- Bohemians

Updates by

90' + 8'

FULL TIME!

The game has ended between Dundalk and Bohemians.

90' + 6'

Thanks a million for joining us here tonight on another last gasp game! Niall Newberry's excellent report will be online soon but from me, Tom O'Connor (@boscoisalive) it's oiche mhaith from Oriel Park.

90' + 6'

Keith Long will be furious. Bohs had Dundalk at bay in this game until the sending off. Two substitutes not lasting the length of the game down to ill discipline- one red carded, one taken off for his own yellow card.

James Talbot was superb and kept the scoreline down, especially in the second half. Unfortunate ending for the keeper but it was coming. Bohs impressive again in their resolve and organisation but ultimately in vain.

90' + 6'

Football can be a cruel game but in truth it was discipline which let Bohs down tonight- 7 yelow cards tells a story. Lucky not to have more. The sending off changed the game..

90' + 6'

PENALTY SCORED!

Patrick Hoban scores for Dundalk from the penalty spot.

90' + 5'

PENALTY!!!!

Jarvis chopped down in the area.

90' + 2'

End to end stuff here as Mandroiu breaks, Duffy pinches his pocket and Dundalk press Bohs back.

90' + 1'

Yellow Card

James Talbot is booked for Bohemians.

90'

SIX minutes of injury time. Talbot has been responsible for at least three of these.

87'

TALBOT!!!

What a save! Tips over a close range effort from the flying Hoban

OFF THE LINE!

Andy Lyons heads off his own line as Dundalk draw Talbot for the corner which he misses. He returns to claim and Bohs survive. So far.

84'

Substitution

Dean Jarvis replaces Dane Massey for Dundalk.

84'

Yellow Card

Daniel Mandroiu is booked for Bohemians.

80'

Reghba lasted 12 minutes and was lucky to last that long. Long took him off as he'd been a liability.

80'

Substitution

Scott Allardice replaces Ali Reghba for Bohemians.

79'

The Sean's link up down the right for Dundalk as Murray tees up Gannon whose cross shot is palmed away by Talbot.

78'

Reghba again fouls and escapes a booking. This time pushing Duffy on the edge of the area.

76'

Reghba flattens Massey for the second time in a few minutes. Lucky to avoid a seond yellow card.

74'

2312 here tonight- for a Monday fixture that's not bad!

72'

Yellow Card

Ali Reghba is booked for Bohemians.

72'

It's getting edgy now as Bohs are, understandably, looking to slow the game down.

71'

Yellow Card

Dane Massey is booked for Dundalk.

68'

Substitution

Ali Reghba replaces Ryan Swan for Bohemians.

66'

Substitution

Sean Murray replaces Jordan Flores for Dundalk.

66'

Pinball in the Bohs box and the big Donegal man rattles the net. He's been lively in his few minutes and now he's scored!!

66'

GOAL!

Georgie Kelly scores for Dundalk.

65'

As predicted, both Dundalk dangermen have been sprung from the bench as a goal is needed. And quickly. Bohs have done well so far but you sense it won't be long.

64'

Substitution

Sean Murray replaces Jordan Flores for Dundalk.

63'

CHANCE!

Georgie Kelly again denied by Talbot. A header straight at the big netminder from close range. The screw is being turned here.

59'

Yellow Card

Aaron Barry is booked for Bohemians.

58'

CHANCE(S!)

Georgie Kelly twice bravely denied by Talbot from close range after Flores was fouled by Barry on the edge of the area. Great keeping!

Hoare and the flying Hoban both see headers drift off target.

57'

Substitution

Georgie Kelly replaces Daniel Kelly for Dundalk.

56'

Substitution

Georgie Kelly replaces Daniel Kelly for Dundalk.

56'

Substitution

Georgie Kelly replaces Daniel Kelly for Dundalk.

54'

Over on the far touchline, Graydon fouled Cleary and departs 15 playing minutes after his arrival. Not clever.

54'

Second Yellow & Red Card

Ryan Graydon receives a second yellow card and is sent off for Bohemians.

50'

Slight alteration for Bohs as Wade-Slater is now operating on the right hand side of the Bohs front 3 with Graydon on the left. Previously Grant was on the right before his injury.

49'

Great defensive clearance from Lyons to nod away a dangerous cross.

CLEARY!!

Not this time as his stretches to poke over the resultant Flores corner.

46'

Yellow Card

Ryan Graydon is booked for Bohemians.

46'

Second Half

The second half between Dundalk and Bohemians has started.

45' + 2'

The early goal has forced Dundalk out to play earlier than they may be used to. As in their first duel at Oriel Park earlier in the season, Bohs have been adept at limiting the open spaces Dundalk thrive on. Mandroiu has been impressive. Remember this is a Bohemians side without Keiths Buckley and Ward or Dinny Corcoran. Add Dinny Corcoran and Kevin Devaney to the list and it only adds to the burgeoning reputation of Keith Long.

Big second half in store for Dundalk with the news that Shamrock Rovers are now 2-0 up in Finn Park. Expect to see Sean Murray and Georgie Kelly introduced during the second half.

45' + 2'

Half Time

It is half-time between Dundalk and Bohemians.

45' + 1'

Talbot saves well from a tame McEleney effort and launches long after a decent pause- his modus operandi for the night so far.

45'

ALMOST 2!

Gannon and Shields got themselves in a muddle on the edge of the box and Ryan Swan nipped in to steer an effort just wide. The away side could rue that miss.

41'

Substitution

Ryan Graydon replaces Daniel Grant for Bohemians.

39'

Bad news on both sides as Dundalk create an opening through midfield and Flores sets his sights. Unfortunately the ball careers into Hoban and rebounds for a goal kick.

For Bohs, Danny Grant is hobbling off with a potential hamstring injury, nobody near him as he sat down. Ryan Graydon to replace him.

37'

Yellow Card

Ryan Swan is booked for Bohemians.

37'

Bohs on the back foot the past few minutes but still look like they're comfortable to soak it all up.

30'

Gannon- Kelly- cross. And no finsh from the onrushing Massey.

Great wingplay but no luck at the end.

25'

This time it's Flores on the edge pf his own area taking the sting out of a Mandroiu effort. Dundalk clear the corner and break.

It must be said that they're playing into a very strong sun which can't be helping their efforts to level matters. Bohs resolute and comfortable enough so far.

20'

Great move from Dundalk, McEleney found Hoban and the big Loughrea man laid it off to the onrushing Jordan Flores but he stubbed his effort straight at Talbot from the edge of the area. McEleney will be the instigator if Dundalk score tonight.

17'

DUFFY!! Not this time.

McEleney strode through the defence, nudged the ball to his left but his fellow Derryman Duffy could only rippple the outside of the net from a position where he usually would have hit the inside. Big big chance.

16'

Feisty start here as Bohs refuse to sit back and follow the usual pattern of visiting teams. Though, by tradition, they're not a club to conform.

9'

Four changes for Dundalk as Cleary, Kelly, Flores and Massey replace Gartland, Mountney, Murray and Jarvis.

Bohs bring in Lyons and Swan for Pender and Corcoran following their weekend draw

6'

SAVE!

Stunning save from Talbot to push over a Dan Kelly effort after Sean Gannon had skipped inside Darragh Leahy and pulled it back for the former Bohs wideman.

2'

Through ball from Robbie McCourt split the defence, Grant sprinted onto it. He drew Rogers before firing to the net from an acute angle. Tidy finish from the winger. Brilliant start for the away side moments after Mceleney had almost put Flores through on goal at the other end.

2'

GOAL!

Daniel Grant scores for Bohemians.

1'

GAME ON!

The game between Dundalk and Bohemians has kicked off.
