Lisburn Distillery appoint new manager

Lisburn Distillery have appointed Johnny Clapham as their new first team manager.

The Whites had been searching for a new manager following Stephen Hatfield's resignation after a 4-1 loss to Annagh United.

The Whites find themselves 8th in the Premier Intermediate League with 3 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats this campaign.

Distillery also are out of every Cup competition this campaign, St James Swifts ending their Intermediate Cup campaign in Round 4.

Clapham was with the Whites as a player for four years during which they won the First division championship and Ulster cup.

Since retiring as a player he has spent his time developing his coaching career having coached at all levels of the game from youth football right the way through to his most recent position where he was assistant manager under Warren Feeney at Ards FC. Johnny is the current holder of a UEFA “A” License coaching badge.

However due to the ongoing Coronavirus concerns he will not be able to meet with his staff or players until Training and matches resume.
