Kieran 'Marty' Waters stays on as Cabo unveil 33-man squad for 2020

First Division Cabinteely have today unveiled their 33-man squad ahead of the 2020 First Division campaign.

The Green and White’s lost a number of their key 2019 performers in the off-season transfer window, but they have been busy recruiting for 2020 in the process.

Former Shamrock Rovers star Kieran ‘Marty’ Waters has been confirmed as staying on for 2020, while goalkeeper Michael Kelly makes his Stradbrook return after a spell away.

Jonathan Carlin also remains, while Lloyd Buckley and Ciaran Grogan both join from Athlone Town.

Corey Chambers also makes the move to Stradbrook from Wexford, while Japanese duo Ryusei Kojima and Kaito Akimoto both make the step up to the junior ranks to the League of Ireland.

16-year-old Jamie Egan has also been named in the club’s first-team squad, while Cian Kelly also has been named in the squad.

Eoin McPhillips joins from First Division rivals Drogheda United, as Dylan Thornton links up with the South Dubliner’s from Bohemians.

Mark Soper, Andrew Byrne, Lee Murray, Sean Fitzpatrick and Aaron Byrne have also been named in the squad alongside the previous announced arrivals.
