Wexford appoint Mokhtar Addani as club's new Academy Director

First Division Wexford have confirmed the appointment of Mokhtar Addani as the club’s new Academy Director.

Addani joins the Slaneysiders set-up in an Academy Director capacity having worked with the club for a number of years in the underage grades.

The role will see the experienced Academy Director oversee the club’s operations from under-13 to under-19 level.

“At the start of the season, we are going to discuss a new style, and a new club management for the club,” the UEFA Elite A Licence holder told Wexford’s media team.

“We are trying to come up with the methodology for the youth, and a system to find an ID for Wexford.

“That’s the main thing we are trying to start with at the start of this season hopefully.”

The coach has over 20 years of experience working with football academies throughout Leinster and has been a technical advisor with Bray Wanderers as well as Wexford Youths and Wexford FC.

He also launched the National League Football Academy in Dublin and was recently presented with his UEFA Elite A Licence.
