Ireland under-21 winger Simon Power returns to Norwich after Ross County loan

Former UCD winger Simon Power has ended his loan spell at Ross County to make a return to his parent club Norwich City.

Power joined Ross County at the start of the season, but he has since found game time limited in Scotland.

He made four appearances for the Scottish Premiership side after the 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with FC Dordrecht in the Eerste Divisie in the Netherlands.

Simon played for Cabinteely's under-17 squad for the 2015 season before then appearing in their first team panel at the end of August 2015.

Simon made just the one senior appearance for Cabo during the 2015 season and then moved to UCD where he joined their U19 side ahead of the 2016 season.

Simon made his league debut for UCD against his former side Cabinteely on 8 July and went on to make 3 league appearances that season.

In February 2017 he was named in Collie O'Neill's senior panel for the upcoming First Division campaign.

In late December 2017, Norwich announced that they had signed Simon on a deal until the end of the 2020 season.
