Republic of Ireland under-19s and 17s learn qualifier fate

The Republic of Ireland under-19 and 17s side have learned of their European Qualifier fate ahead of 2020.

Tom Mohan’s under-19s will also host UEFA Under-19 Qualifying Round games next November against Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Estonia.

The Boys in Green discovered their opponents in round one of the new Nations League-style UEFA European Under-19 2020-2022 Championship.

They will face the Netherlands, Turkey and Croatia in Group A1 in Turkey. The fixtures will also take place in November.

Colin O’Brien’s under-17s will head to Scotland for the Elite Round of qualifiers to the 2020 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

They will face Scotland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in March as the under-17s look to secure a fourth consecutive qualification to the finals.

The draw, hosted in Nyon, was also made for the 2021 UEFA Under-17 Qualifying Round with Ireland to host Slovakia, Northern Ireland and Estonia next October.

All venues for the fixtures will be announced shortly
