First Division winners Shelbourne have confirmed that the trio of Ryan Brennan, Daniel McKenna and Aidan Friel have all committed to another year at Tolka Park.

The trio played a key role in the Reds title success, with Shels returning to the top-flight after a long six year absence.

Ian Morris’ side secured the First Division crown with a hard-fought 3-1 win away to Drogheda United on the penultimate night of the season.

With Premier Division football secured, Morris has been busy adding to his ranks – with Ryan Brennan, McKenna and Friel all signing up for another year at the Richmond Road venue.

Also staying at Tolka Park is former Bray Wanderers and Wolves midfielder McKenna. The 19 year old made 17 appearances for Shelbourne on their return to the top table of Irish football.
