Dundalk's EA Sports Cup semi-final meeting with Bohemians rescheduled for Monday

The EA Sports Cup semi-final meeting between Dundalk and Bohemians has been rescheduled for Monday, August 19th following Dundalk’s eliminated from the Europa League.

Last Monday’s originally scheduled game had been postponed due to the Lilywhites’ third qualifying round tie with Slovan Bratislava, which ended in a 4-1 aggregate defeat in Tallaght last night.

Derry City await the winners of the tie, which is slated to kick off at Oriel Park at 7.45pm, after seeing off the challenge of Waterford last week with a 4-2 win after extra time at the Brandywell.

The games will now come thick and fast for Vinny Perth’s side, who hold a seven-point advantage over Shamrock Rovers at the top of the Premier Division with one fewer game played.

First up for the 2017 EA Sports Cup winners will be a meeting with fourth-placed Bohemians at Oriel Park, with kick-off slated for 7.45pm.

The Lilywhites face Finn Harps in the league at home on Friday night, a game that will be televised live on Eir Sport 1, while the Gypsies host UCD.
