Draw revealed for the So Hotels FAI Women's Cup First Round

The road to the Só Hotels FAI Women’s Cup final has been made slightly clearer following the first round draw of the competition.

The tie of the round will see a Cork Derby as non-league Wilton United host Women’s National League Cork City.

There is an all WNL clash as strugglers Kilkenny United face Limerick at the Watershed. Kilkenny have lost all of their league games so far this season.

Limerick on the other hand lie second from bottom in the table, with three wins to their name all season.

Cork’s Lakewood Athletic will also face Graham Kelly’s DLR Waves in Ballincollig while there is an all non-league clash as TEK United welcome Cregmore Claregalway to their home ground.

TEK United, based in Deansgrange Co. Dublin will face Clare’s Cregmore Claregalway on the weekend ending August 25 along with all the round’s other fixtures.
