Dundalk's home Champions League tie with Riga next week has sold out

Tickets for the home leg of Dundalk’s Champions League first qualifying round against Riga FC on July 10th have sold out within 24 hours of going on general sale.

Roughly 3,000 tickets have been snapped up by the home support ahead of their first Champions League game in two years.

The Lilywhites will face the Latvian champions (see Niall Newberry's guide: Who are Riga FC?) at Oriel Park in the first leg before making the trip to the Baltic state a week later.

Tickets went on sale last week to season ticket holders and the remainder were placed on general release on a first come first served basis at Monday’s league game against Waterford at Oriel Park.

The game will be shown live on RTÉ2.
