Cliftonville re-sign Ryan Curran as two depart the Reds

Danske Bank Premier League side Cliftonville have announced that striker Ryan Curran has re-signed for the club.

Curran re-signs on a long-term deal after his exploits helped fire the Reds into the Europa League qualifiers.

The Solitude outfit also confirmed that the duo of Ross Lavery and Damien McNulty have been placed on the transfer list by manager Paddy McLaughlin.

Brian Neeson and Ruairi Harkon will also both be moving on from the Belfast side.

25-year-old Curran played a pivotal role in securing Cliftonville’s passage to the Europa League with his 16 goals proving to be instrumental after joining from Ballinamallard United in May 2018.

His penalty against Coleraine in the Play-Off Semi-Final set McLaughlin’s side on their way to the final where they overcame Glentoran in the final.

Joe Gormley opened the scoring against the Glens before Conor McMenamin sealed the deal late on in front of their home support at Solitude.

The club have also confirmed that news of further player recruitment will be confirmed in the coming days.
