Mark Farren Cup second round draw throws up several regional derbies
The draw for the second round of the under-17 Mark Farren Cup was made in the league offices on Friday and produced a number of local derby clashes.
There are plenty of neighbouring county clashes with Cork City taking on Kerry, Wexford set to face Waterford, Finn Harps (Donegal) welcoming Sligo Rovers and UCD drawing Bray Wanderers (Wicklow).
There is one Dublin derby as St. Patrick’s Athletic welcome fellow southsiders Cabinteely.
Shelbourne v Dundalk and Galway United v Longford Town complete the second round matches.
The games will be played on the 10th and 11th of July, the same night of the World Cup 2018 semi-finals fixtures.
