The Extratime.ie Sportscast Episode 114 - Marie Hourihan

In this week's Extratime.ie Sportscast, host Declan Marron is joined in the studio by regular contributors Dave Donnelly and Macdara Ferris.

Dec and Dave speak to Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Marie Hourihan ahead of the crucial double-header against Norway that will determine whether they have a chance of making the World Cup.

The London-born shotstopper talks about the threat she expects the top seeds and former World Cup winners to pose and why she considers the games to be a virtual 'play-off' between the sides.

She also discusses her experience of playing at the highest level in England with Chelsea and Manchester City – and why she may need to leave Eastlands to keep her international place.

And Macdara drops into the studio to discuss the latest goings-on at Limerick, Shamrock Rovers' 5-2 defeat to Dundalk and all the recent league action.

He looks ahead to travelling to the World Cup in Russia – where he'll cover five games for extratime.ie – and there's a preview of all the weekend's action.
