How we thought they would do?

While the manager at the start of the season Dave Robertson didn't invest in experience, the hope was that the Bit O'Red would be fighting for a European place not relegation this season.

How they really have done

Poor is the only word to describe the way the club are performing so far this season, which prompted the removal of Robertson with Ger Lyttle coming in to take over the team. If it wasn't for the brilliance of Kieran Sadlier, Rovers would likely be sitting bottom of the League of Ireland table.

Moment of the season so far

Hard to come up with any moment this season that stands out. If we had to pick a moment, it would be the 3-0 win over Limerick at The Showgrounds. After being humiliated 5-1 to the Blues on the opening night of the season, Rovers showed real character to put that result behind them and put Limerick to the sword.

What they need to do in the transfer market

Experience is required. Lyttle needs to bring in experienced players who have the ability to keep calm when Plan A isn't working and players who can stand up and be counted when the going gets tough.
