Peter Cherrie commits to Bray for 2017

Bray Wanderers have confirmed that Peter Cherrie will remain with the Seagulls for the 2017 SSE Airtricity League Premier Division season.

The news was expected as Cherrie signed a two year contract at the beginning of 2016 before going onto have a successful season at the Carlisle Grounds.

Cherrie arrived at Bray in the summer of 2015 following a seven month spell with Irish League side Cliftonville.

Previous to that, Cherrie spent five and a half seasons with Dundalk shortly after making his name in the League of Ireland with Waterford United in 2009.

Cherrie joins the list of Ryan Brennan, Darragh Noone, Conor Kenna, Hugh Douglas, Dylan Connolly, John Sullivan, Mark Salmon and Tim Clancy, who have also committed to Bray for 2017.
