Galway United manager Tony Cousins stepped in and signed the Dublin man on January 2nd, as soon as the transfer window opened.
Colm James was released by Bray Wanderers in September 2006, soon after Eddie Gormley took over as manager.
Made his first team debut for Bray away to Longford Town in October 2002. Scored his first goal against Athlone Town in August 2003. Colm represented the Eircom league under 21s in a four nations tournament in Scotland in May 2004.
Colm signed for Sporting Fingal in 2008.
