In the July 2006 transfer window, Alan Reilly signed for Waterford United, from the Saints.
Alan is a former Ireland Under 18 international who was signed for St. Patrick's Athletic from Drogheda United. The Finglas native is a left footed, creative central midfielder who can also operate on the left flank.
He moved to Manchester City as a 16 year old and spent three and a half years at Maine Road before moving on to Halifax Town. He returned to Ireland to sign for Bohemians and had a spell with Waterford United before Paul Doolin brought him to Drogheda at the beginning of 2004.
