Doyle retired from senior football on February 14th, 2007.
UCD snapped up former Dublin City defender Keith Doyle, at the start of August '06, to help bolster their squad.
Dublin City went out of business in July 2006.
Released by Rovers in January 2006 and signed for Dublin City.
Although 2004 was very disappointing for the Hoops, on a personal level it was a success for Keith. He missed just nine of the thirty-six league games and given the injury problems that had beset him previously 2004 proved to be a turning point for him. Although he has played almost exclusively at left full he stood in at centre half several times towards the end of that season.
