Shamrock Rovers boss Pat Scully signed Andy from Longford Town, in early July 2006, Myler stating on the Official Rovers Website - ``I’m delighted to be joining Shamrock Rovers,’’. ``My family is Rovers through and through, and it’s always been an ambition of mine to wear the famous green and white Hoops. ``I’ve been very impressed by Pat Scully and what he’s aiming to do at Rovers. Andy joined Longford Town from Drogheda United.
His previous clubs include UCD, Monaghan United, Athlone Town, Waterford United and Drogheda, where he was for three seasons. Andy works as an accounts manager and cites his father Andy as the biggest influence on his career.
He has always enjoyed an enviable scoring record in league competitions in the eircom League.
Andy signed for Bray Wanderers in the close season 2008.
