About Alan Moore
Moore signed a one year contract with Derry City, having joined them on a free transfer from Shelbourne on March 4th, 2007.
A talented midfielder who can play wide on the right or in central midfield Alan joined Shels in May 2004, after being released by Burnley.
He began his career at Rivermount before moving to Middlesboro where he won 8 caps for the Republic of Ireland. He made his Shels league debut against Shamrock Rovers in July 2004 and scored three times for Shels in Europe in his first season with the club.
Moore signed for Sligo in 2008.
