About Steve Feeney
A skilful player who is equally comfortable in midfield or central defence. Sligo-born Steve Feeney first joined his local club, Sligo Rovers, in 1999.
Having spent seven years with the Bit 'o Red, including helping them to promotion to the Premier Division, Feeney signed for Athlone Town during the 2006 season.
He joined Monaghan United at the start of the 2007 season and his experience was an invaluable asset.
In February 2011 Steve joined Galway United from Sligo Junior side Quayside Rovers.
