About Danny North
Danny developed in the Grimsby Town youth system and made his debut for the first team in February 2005. He became established at Grimsby in the 2006/07 season and was the club's top-scorer in 2007/08. Danny's fortunes changed when manager Alan Buckley left and he was released by the club in February 2010.
A brief spell at non league Alfreton Town took Danny to the end of the 2009/10 season and in June he signed for St Patrick's Athletic under manager Pete Mahon.
Danny's debut in the League of ireland came on 2 July 2010 in a 4-2 win over Galway United. He made 18 league appearance and scored 7 league goals in 2010.
On 30 November 2011, Danny North signed for League of Ireland Premier Division side Sligo Rovers.
