Shane Duggan - Cork City
About Shane Duggan
Shane is a midfielder who spent the 2007/08 season in England with Plymouth Argyle. He returned home to join UCD in the summer of 2008 and made his debut for the Students in a 3-0 defeat at home to St Patrick's Ath on 3 August. He went on to make 13 league appearances for Pete Mahon's side as they suffered relegation from the Premier Division.
In February 2009 Shane signed for Paul Doolin at Cork City and made 16 league appearances, scoring twice, as the Rebels finished third in the Premier Division. But in February 2010 the club folded and Shane, like many of his team mates, signed for the supporter led Cork City Foras Co-op, making 30 league appearances and scoring four goals in their First Division campaign.
Back under the flag of 'Cork City FC', the club won the 2011 First Division title and Shane contributed six goals in 27 league appearances.
