Derek Doyle - St. Patrick's Athletic
About Derek Doyle
Derek played underage football with Cherry Orchard before earning a scholarship at UCD and joining their League of Ireland side in 2004.
He made his debut for the Students against Shelbourne in June 2005 and made 72 league appearances with the club over the next four seasons. Midway through 2008 Derek signed for First Division Dundalk and made 11 appearances, scoring three goals, for the Co Louth club as they won the First Division title.
In 2009 Derek moved on to Shelbourne where he signed for Dermot Keely and appeared 27 times for the 'Reds' that year, contributing three goals. Shels finished as runners-up in the First Division that year, losing to Sporting Fingal in a promotion play-off.
For 2010 Derek rejoined his former UCD boss, Pete Mahon, signing for St Patrick's Athletic. He made 21 league appearances and scored eight times during his debut year at Richmond Park.
