Robert Bayly - Monaghan United
About Robert Bayly
Robert is a graduate of Cherry Orchard who went on to sign for Leeds United in 2006. He spent two seasons at Elland Road but was released by the club in the Autumn of 2008, when he returned home to sign for Sporting Fingal at the start of the 2009 season.
Robert was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier Division that year and he also picked up an FAI Cup winners medal as Fingal beat Sligo Rovers in the 2009 final.
In January of 2010 Robert signed for Michael O'Neill at Shamrock Rovers and made 26 league appearances as the club won the 2010 League title. However, he was suspended for the 2010 FAI Cup final in which the Hoops were beaten by Sligo Rovers on penalties.
Robert signed for Pat Fenlon at Bohemians in February 2011 at a time when financial pressure had dulled the club's competitive edge. He made 25 league appearances that year, but in December 2011, after just one year at Dalymount Park, he signed for Roddy Collins at Monaghan United.
Robert made his debut for Monaghan in a 0-0 draw with Dundalk on the opening night of the 2012 season.
