About Paul McCarthy
Paul McCarthy is an attacking minded central midfield who played with Waterford United. Paul joined the Blues first team in January 2006, having played part of the 2005 season with the Blues U-21 squad before returning to his hometown club Tramore.
A good first half to the 2009 season was ended as Paul underwent major groin operation. But Paul signed back on for the 2010 season in December 2009 having shown no ill effects following his surgery.
In January 2011 Paul left Waterford and returned to play with local side Tramore AFC.
