Charlie Burke - Salthill Devon
About Charlie Burke
Charlie started out with the now defunct local club Newcastle United before signing for Salthill Devon. He played in both of the club's A Championship campaigns of 2008 and 2009 and was part of the side that made it to the 2009 final in which they lost out 1-0 to Shamrock Rovers.
He also played in the club's debut League of Ireland season in 2010, making 8 league appearances and scoring one league goal in a 2-1 defeat away to Wexford Youths. That was a result that was subsequently overturned, giving Salthill their first ever league points. Later that season Charlie scored twice in a 3-1 win against Tullamore Town in the third round of the FAI Cup.
In the latter half of 2010 Charlie dropped down to play for the club's Junior side but returned to the first team squad in May 2011
