About Dan Cunningham
Dan is a left sided defender or midfielder and is the youngest of the three Cunningham brothers to have come through the underage ranks at Mervue United. He made his league debut for Mervue on 17 September '09 in a 6-1 home defeat to Waterford United.
Dan made 2 league appearances for the club in what was their first season of league football and cemented a place in the first team the following year, making 26 league appearances in 2010. In 2011 Dan made just 8 league appearances and in February 2012 he joined up with Sean McCaffrey's Dundalk squad.
Dan made just 5 league appearances for Dundalk and he left the club in July 2012, returning home to sign for Mervue United.
