About Val Feeney
Val carved out a considerable reputation as a schoolboy with Co Offaly side Birr Town and had already been capped for the Republic of Ireland at under-age level when, aged just sixteen, he signed for Athlone Town on 27 January 2012.
Val made his league debut for Athlone as a substitute in a 1-0 away win over Mervue United on 23 March 2012.
