Founded in 1890, Bohemian FC were a founding member of the League of Ireland in 1921. Bohs continued to be a fully amateur club until 1969. They have won more games in European competition than any other League of Ireland club and hold the record for Leinster Senior Cup wins with 31 cups claimed.
The Irish national side used Bohemians' home ground, Dalymount Park, until it moved to Lansdowne Road. Bohemians have been League Champions on eleven occasions, firstly in 1923-24 and lastly in 2009. They have won the FAI Cup on seven occasions, and the League Cup three times.
