Austin’s Biography
Austin played schoolboy football with Home Farm and Tolka Rovers before joining Bohemians in 2000. He spent two seasons at Dalymount before moving on to Dublin City where he was understudy to Paul Flood and played regularly with City's U17's.
UCD signed the young keeper for the 2003 season where he made 3 league appearances before deciding to take a break from the professional game in 2004. He kept his hand in playing for Tolka Rovers in the Leinster Senior League before joining Limerick in August 2006.
Austin made 12 league appearances for Limerick FC over the latter stages of the 2006 season and on 10 January 10 2007 he signed for Kildare County. He spent two seasons at Station Road, making 43 league appearances.
Austin left Kildare at the end of 2008 and did not play league football in 2009. He joined Monaghan United at the start of 2010 but left shortly afterwards without having made a league appearance.
