Christy’s Biography
Christy spent 2005 with St Patrick’s Athletic before being snapped up by John Gill at Dundalk in December 2005. Gill, however, sent Doran out on loan to Kilkenny City before the 2006 season started, in order to get first team experience. Christy left Dundalk by mutual consent in September 2007.
Christy signed for Sporting Fingal in 2008 and made his debut as a substitute in a 1-1 draw against KIldare County on 22 August '08. He left Sporting at the end of the season and next surfaced at Kildare County in June 2009. He made his debut for the Thoroughbreds in a 3-2 defeat at home to Longford Town on 5th June ’09.
